Crazy costumes, Pole-Pedal-Paddle, skiers jostling for the LAST tram ride of the season….

Alas, another ski season has come to a close at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.  We are very grateful and blessed that Jackson Hole received fabulous snow this season when many of our sister resorts across the nation did not receive the powder they had expected.

To our guests and visitors who made time to spend some of your winter vacation with us, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  We love sharing this spectacular corner of the world with you and we are thrilled that you come back each year to enjoy our slopes and back-country skiing, snowmobiling, dog-sledding and snow shoeing.

So until next year, may visions of deep powder and blue-bird sky ski days fill your dreams.  Tune up those skis and book your vacation with us for next year – it’s never too early!

Eco-Tip of the Day!

Biofuels are clean-burning alternatives to both conventional diesel and gasoline.  Cars running on traditional biodiesel (a mix of vegetable oil and animal fats) give off 78% fewer emissions.  Did you know that anyone with a diesel engine can convert their vehicle to run on straight vegetable oil (SVO)?  SVO-compatiable engines can run on waste oil discarded by restaurants, store-bought oil and regular diesel when necessary.  Each year the U.S. produces more than 11 billion liters of waste oil, most of which comes from deep fryers – that’s a lot of fuel!
