There is a stacked calendar of action-packed events coming to Jackson Hole in September. From fly-fishing to marathons to endurance cycling races, Jackson Hole will be hosting world-class athletes during the entire month.
So, Hotel Terra wanted to roll out the proverbial red carpet for the top athletes in their respective disciplines. If you’re an athlete competing in the Jackson Hole One Fly, Jackson Hole Marathon, or LoToJa staying in the Hotel Terra and you happen to place in the top three of your comp, we’ll comp your room. That’s right, you read that correctly: Earn a spot on the podium, and we’ll pick up your hotel room tab at the Hotel Terra.
Our hats go off to you athletes, and we wanted to show our admiration in a tangible way.
And, for those of you who do not know about these upcoming events, here’s a bit of info:
Jackson Hole One Fly (Sept 5–8)
Some of the best anglers in the states will be slapping our local waters during the competition. The mayfly imitations and artful anglers will have the picky cutthroat trout dancing throughout the weekend. All proceeds benefit the Jackson Hole One Fly Foundation, which is a non-profit committed to educating and creating projects for the betterment of trout and fly-fishing.
LoToJa (Sept 7)
At 206 miles, the LoToJa cycling race has become one of the most grueling amateur races in the United States. The 200-plus-mile course spans three states and three high-mountain passes. Crossing Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming, the LoToJa finish line is at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
The Jackson Hole Marathon (Sept 22)
Three different races will wind through the Tetons on what we believe to be the most scenic race location in the United States. A marathon, a marathon relay, and a half marathon are on-tap for all levels of runners. The Jackson Hole Marathon is a Boston Marathon Qualifier and a USATF Sanctioned Event.
